Dual housing with fittings and 1 each of a 10 micron carbon filter (#9589) soft-stick cartridge (#9680).
The purpose of this system is to prevent corrosion and scale buildup in the boiling tank of home distillation systems. This system consists of two major components. The first component is a 10 micron Carbon Filter Prefilter Cartridge. The purpose of the Carbon Block Cartridge is to remove most sediments and to remove chlorine or chloramines from the feed water .
The second component, in the clear housing, is a Soft-Stick cartridge.
The purpose of this system is to prevent or greatly diminish the formation of scale buildup in the boiling tank of the distiller and to provide a protective coating in the boiling tank to diminish corrosion from chlorides an low pH found in some feed waters.
